Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 103
santa jana, bāraha māsa basanta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
There always remains the season of spring for saints. They always say ‘Piu Piu’ (Beloved! beloved!) in a voice filled with excessive love, like the warble of a cuckoo in the month of spring. Like leaves falling from trees in springtime, saints continue shedding tears of love from their eyes. Like the humming of the bees of spring-time, saints always sing Shyāmasundara’s attributes, swaying with the intoxication of love. Exactly like the mustard plants fully blossomed in the months of spring, saints feel beside themselves with joy in the heart getting intoxicated with the love of their Beloved. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that the season of spring lasts only for two months but the saints’ spring of love stays forever and continuously keeps them drowned in the ocean of bliss for endless time.
