mana! tū kāhe haṭha pakaryo?
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Why are you unnecessarily being importunate? In order to get the five objects of the senses – sound, smell, taste, touch and form, you have unceasingly been wandering in the world, but your hard labour has proved to be absolutely useless because, even after striving thus continuously from beginning-less time, you could not experience even an iota of peace, even in your dreams. If you listen to me, I will take you to Bhagwan Rādhā-Kṛishṇa, where you will attain absolutely divine objects for the same senses. Thus, not only will you be satisfied, but I will also be liberated from the bondage of this world. Oh my mind! Once you taste that divine bliss, you cannot even dream of going anywhere else; rather, bound by the chain of divine love, you will always remain enraptured with joy. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Although you have wasted innumerable lives so far, but never mind, still there is time. Now wake up at once and surrender yourself to Rādhā-Kṛishṇa.”
