Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 46
jaga gorakhadhandhā jāna re!
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Know this world to be useless like a labyrinth. You are lost in the maze of the three desires of wealth, son and wife. Oh foolish mind! What to say of poor human beings, even the governors of the universe, Brahmā, Vishnu and Shaṅkara, have to accept their defeat before Death and depart from this world in one moment. Oh mind! Mother, father, wife, all pretend to be friendly only for the fulfilment of their selfish ends. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “The only real friend in the whole world is Shyāmasundara.”
