Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 32
karo jani mana! manamānī kāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh my mind! Do not foolishly act according to your whims and impulses. You have been a slave to material objects since time immemorial. As a consequence, all you have experienced so far is the sorrows and sufferings of eighty-four lakh types of embodiments without having any rest at all. Even a blind man after stumbling once, measures every step with great care at that place; but you are such a blind fool that even after experiencing the bitterness of the world for innumerable times, you are stubbornly running in the same direction. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Well, let bygones be bygones. Surrender yourself to the lotus-feet of Shyāmā-Shyāma now and think only about Them uninterruptedly.”
