karahu budhajana mana māhiṁ vichāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Let wise people ponder seriously upon what I say. Brahma or God is considered by some as formless and by some, as endowed with a form. In my opinion, there is no difference at all between these two viewpoints, because when even the incapable, powerless individual soul is being seen endowed with a form, then how can it be impossible for Almighty God to possess a form? Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Yes, there is certainly one difference between the individual soul and God in their being endowed with a form; and that difference is, the individual soul being under the control of māyā dons a material body, whereas the body of God, because of Him being the ruler of māyā, is absolutely divine.”
