gaye hama, ina nainana te hāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A virahiṇī says, “I got defeated by these eyes which are crazy after Shyāmasundara. First, these eyes got entangled with Shyāmasundara’s eyes, refusing to listen to me and acting at their will, and now, after being horse de combat (outdone), they are shedding tears, causing great trouble for me. These eyes have well got the result of whatever they did arbitrarily. But they are so stubborn and stupid that they still don’t consider at all. (Addressing the eyes) Oh eyes! Just as a bee, greedy for the sweet pollen goes to innumerable flowers like a lewd, the same is the nature of Shyāmasundara. After realizing this, abandon thinking about Him altogether and sleep soundly.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that how can the eyes, that are continuously pricked by (the memory of) Shyāmasundara, sleep soundly?
