Nikunj Madhuri · Pad 20
yugalavara, jhūleṁ kuñja kuṭīra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Shrī Rādhā, in whose nose is always adorned a nose-ring, and Shrī Kṛishṇa, the flute-player, are both swinging. The swing has been hung on a branch of a Kadamba tree on the bank of the Yamunā. Lost in the bliss of love, Shyāmasundara is giving pushes to the swing on which Shrī Kishorī Jī is sitting. All sakhīs are singing raga Megha malhāra in a chorus; their bodies are thrilling due to excessive joy. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that Bhagwan Shiva and the great paramahansas like Sanaka etc. are watching this enthralling scene, assuming the form of parrots, peacocks, cuckoos and other birds.
