Shri Krishna Madhuri · Pad 37
saba jhuki jhūmata sakhi! lāla pai
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Everything adorned on Shyāmasundara’s body is tilting and swaying as if in the intoxication of bliss. Oh sakhi! Look, the peacock-feather-crescent is tilting and swaying on Shyāmasundara’s head, while on His forehead are bending and swinging the curly locks of hair. The lovely besara dangling from the nose is also bending and swinging over His red lips. On the big garland of forest-flowers embracing Shyāmasundara’s neck is bending and swaying the yellow shawl wrapped around His shoulders. The gem-studded earrings worn in His ears are also bending and swinging on His cheeks. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Even my heart is bending and undulating over Shyāmasundara’s intoxicating gait which puts to shame even the lovely gait of a swan.”
