Shri Krishna Madhuri · Pad 9
chalata jhuki, jhūmi jhūmi naṁdalāla
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Our Shyāmasundara walks swaying and bending in the intoxication of love. With His mischievous eyes, He keeps on glancing everywhere turning Himself from one side to another. Shyāmasundara’s curly locks of hair repeatedly kiss His face, bending and swaying like Him. Even His crown of peacock-feathers keeps on raking and swinging because of His intoxicating gait. His earrings, too, kiss His cheeks over and over again. Similarly, the garland of guñjā flowers is also swinging and kissing Shyāmasundara’s neck. His besara too kisses His lips. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī adds, “But it is the flute of Shyāmasundara which bends, sways and kisses His mouth the most.”
