shyāma! hauṁ kaba braja basihauṁ jāya?
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
“Oh Shyāmasundara! When will that blissful day come when I will be blessed with eternal dwelling in Braja; when I will shed incessant tears from my eyes, glorifying various names and attributes of Shrī Rādhā- Kṛishṇa; when I will wander in the lanes of Gahvaravana, lovingly calling out to Shrī Rādhe; when I will walk jolting in the groves of Vṛindāvana, my heart filled with intoxicating divine feelings; when I will call out to You ‘My Beloved!’, with extreme longing and yearning for the sweet union with You, embracing the tree-branches on the mount of Govardhana?” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī sighs, “Oh, when will that day come when I will become truly mad with the love of my Beloved, rolling in the holy dust of Braja?”
