Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 88
raṭo re mana! chhina-chhina shyāmā-shyāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Reiterate the dual name, Shyāmā-Shyāma every moment. Shyāmā and Shyāma are two inseparable forms of Sachchidānanda Brahma. Oh mind! Their names are ceaselessly sung even by the greatest paramahansas like Shiva, Shuka, Sanaka etc. Gyānīs stand in Braja in the form of trees in order to have a glimpse of Their divine līlās. Even the greatest in the universe like Brahmā beg for the dust of Their abode standing on one foot. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “It is after hearing about the alluring attributes of this Divine Couple that even the greatest paramahansas like Shukadeva forsake their nirvikalpa trance and listen to the Shrimad Bhāgawata from Vedavyāsa.
