1दोनों कहें दोनों को निठुर श्याम श्यामा।
2दोनों की ना मानो कोऊ कहें ब्रज बामा॥
3donoṁ kaheṁ donoṁ ko niṭhura śhyāma śhyāmā
4donoṁ kī nā māno koū kaheṁ braja bāmā
5Both Shyamsundar and Shyama call each other hard-
6hearted. However, this is just the loving language of
7the Rasikas. The fact is that both are extremely soft-
8hearted. Therefore, the Gopis say, “Pay no attention to
9Their external actions and words!
