1वस्तुतः स्वकीया ही हैं सब ब्रज बामा।
2भाव परकीया रखि सेवें श्याम श्यामा॥
3vastutaḥ svakīyā hī haiṁ saba braja bāmā
4bhāva parakīyā rakhi seveṁ śhyāma śhyāmā
5Shyamsundar is the true Beloved of all living beings.
6Therefore, all the Gopis of Braj are in fact svakiya, (His
7own). But they have chosen the parakiya sentiment
8(paramour-relationship) as the mood of their loving
9service to the Supreme Beloved to enjoy the ever
10multiplying divine bliss of madhurya ras.
