सत्य अहिंसा आदि मन! बिनु हरिभजन न पाय ।

1सत्य अहिंसा आदि मन! बिनु हरिभजन न पाय ।

2जल ते घृत निकलै नहीं, कोटिन करिय उपाय ॥३५॥

3भावार्थ - सत्य, अहिंसादि दैवीगुण केवल श्रीकृष्ण भक्ति से ही मिल सकते हैं।

4जैसे पानी मथने से घी नहीं निकल सकता। ऐसे ही अन्य करोड़ों उपायों से

5भी दैवीगुण नहीं मिलते।

6Saṭya ahinsȧ ȧḍi man! binu Hari bhajan na pȧya.

7Jal ṭe ghriṭ nikalai nahiṇ, koṭin kariya upȧya. [35]

8The pure sattvic virtues such as absolute truthfulness and

9nonviolence etc. can only be achieved through selfless devotion to

10Krishn. Just like no one can get butter by churning (lime) water,

11similarly no one can receive true pious qualities by any kind or any

12amount of spiritual practices (which are bereft of Krishn devotion).
