1ज्ञानी अरु योगी लहैं, निज स्वरूप को ज्ञान ।

2हरि स्वरूप जाने नहीं, माया माहिं भुलान ॥२६॥

3भावार्थ - ज्ञानी एवं योगी (भक्ति रहित) अपने लक्ष्य पर पहुँच कर भी माया

4से मुक्त नहीं हो सकते। क्योंकि उन दोनों ने आत्मा का ही स्वरूप जाना है,

5परमात्मा का नहीं जाना।

6Gyȧni aru yogi lahaiṇ, nij swaroop ko gyȧn.

7Hari swaroop jȧne nahiṇ, mȧyȧ mȧhiṇ bhulȧn. [26]

8Gyanis and yogis (who practice gyan or yog without bhakti),

9even after receiving the ultimate height in their path cannot cross

10the field of maya because they have only gained the knowledge

11of their own pure soul (which is already under the bondage of

12maya). They have no practical knowledge about paramatma,

13the Divine personal form of God (with Whose Grace the bondage

14of maya could be broken).
