gāgari mori mārī kāṁkarī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī tells her intimate friend, “Oh sakhi! Shyāmasundara hit my earthen pitcher with a pebble. I was going to sell curd veiling my face. You know that there falls the Sāṁkarī Khora on the way. It was there that Shyāmasundara struck my pitcher with a pebble from behind, and then, started looking at me amorously. Although, I too, was inebriated with joy seeing that Trickster, yet I did not accept anything from outside.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the sakhī affectionately adds that the arbitrariness which Shyāmasundara has done was never done by anyone else in Braja till today.
