bane manihārini nandakumāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Today, Shyāmasundara has disguised Himself as a lady-bangle-seller. The form of that lady-bangle-seller is so fascinating that the moment any maiden of Braja looks at Her, she sacrifices herself on Her. The beauty of that bangle-seller itself puts the personified Beauty out of countenance, and in addition to that, She has also adorned Herself in all sixteen (traditional) embellishments. Placing the basket containing shining bangles of blue, yellow and various other colours on Her head, that lady-bangle-seller went towards Kishorī Jī’s palace all alone and started shouting the slogan “Take bangles, take bangles”. In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Kishorī Jī sent for that lady-bangle-seller and took Her inside Her palace along with Her friends.
