1श्यामा श्याम नयनाभिराम पूर्णकामा।
2किन्तु ब्रज रस की हैं दाता ब्रज बामा॥
3śhyāmā śhyāma nayanābhirāma pūrṇakāmā
4kintu braja rasa kī haiṁ dātā braja bāmā
5It is true that Shyama Shyam are complete within
6Themselves. They are the embodiment of love and bliss
7and are infinitely blissful to Their lovers. However
8brajras, the nectar of divine love, cannot be attained
9directly from Them, but only through the Gopis of Braj.
