1नहीं आये काहे जाके मधुपुरि धामा।
2कुबरी के डर नहिं आये कह श्यामा॥
3nahīṁ āye kāhe jāke madhupuri dhāmā
4kubarī ke ḍara nahiṁ āye kaha śhyāmā
5The Gopis ask each other, “Why has Shyamsundar
6not returned to Braj after going to Mathura?” Shyama
7replies, “Shyamsundar is not coming out of fear of
8Kubja’s reaction.”
