1चारि भुजा धरि रास छलीं ब्रज बामा।
2दुइ भुजा उड़ि गइँ आईं जब श्यामा॥
3chāri bhujā dhari rāsa chhalīṁ braja bāmā
4dui bhujā ud̤i gaiṁ āīṁ jaba śhyāmā
5Shyamsundar appeared in His four-armed form
6as Vishnu before the Gopis. He wanted to fool them,
7but the moment Shri Shyama arrived He could not
8retain His majestic form and immediately the two
9extra arms disappeared.
