2पति खड़ा घूर-घूर देखे निज बामा॥
3ghūṁghaṭa uṭhā ke kaise dekhūṁ chhavidhāmā
4pati khad̤ā ghūra-ghūra dekhe nija bāmā
5A Gopi is thinking to herself, “How do I look at
6Shyamsundar to my heart’s content without lifting
7up the ghunghat that covers my face? My husband
8is standing nearby watching me intently and if he
9knows of my love for Shyamsundar, he will make
10my life miserable.”
