1नैन-नैन लड़े दोउ श्याम अरु बामा।
2अचरज यह आग लगी उरधामा॥
3naina-naina lad̤e dou śhyāma aru bāmā
4acharaja yaha āga lagī uradhāmā
5All that happened was an exchange of the glances
6between Shyamsundar and a Gopi, but the astonishing
7thing is that, this meeting of eyes kindled a fire in the
8heart of the Gopi.
