2जार ते प्यार महापाप ब्रज धामा॥
3tū mohiṁ ‘pyārī’ kyoṁ kahe kaha bāmā
4jāra te pyāra mahāpāpa braja dhāmā
5An innocent Gopi asks Shyamsundar, “Why do You call
6me Your darling and Your beloved? An adulterous
7relationship is a grievous sin, especially in this holy
8land of Braj.”
