1तू तो लोक वेद ते परे है सुखधामा।
2मैं तो जग की हूँ जग में हूँ कह बामा॥
3tū to loka veda te pare hai sukhadhāmā
4maiṁ to jaga kī hūṁ jaga meṁ hūṁ kaha bāmā
5Once a Gopi said to Shyamsundar, “O Beloved! You are
6beyond worldly duties as well as beyond the rules and
7regulations of the scriptures, but I am a soul bound by
8maya. How can I discard these worldly duties and the
9scriptural rules when I have to live here?”
