1लोक वेद कुल कानि तजि अब बामा।
2खुल्लमखुल्ला प्यार करें सुखधामा॥
3loka veda kula kāni taji aba bāmā
4khullamakhullā pyāra kareṁ sukhadhāmā
5“O Sakhi! I will now openly love Shyamsundar with no
6fear of the opinions of the world, the rules and
7regulations of the Vedas, family prestige or honour.”
