1इकली न जाओ कभु भूलि नंदगामा।
2चलो नीची आँख करि सब ब्रज बामा॥
3ikalī na jāo kabhu bhūli nandagāmā
4chalo nīchī āṁkha kari saba braja bāmā
5O Sakhi! Do not ever make a mistake of going to
6Nandagaon all by yourself. If you must go, then walk
7with your eyes lowered. Your eyes should not meet His
8eyes, otherwise you would not be able save yourself
9from the divine spell of His glance.
