1बैठे नाव पै श्याम बामा संग श्यामा।
2जल बरसे भीजें भागें कहाँ बामा॥
3baiṭhe nāva pai śhyāma bāmā saṅga śhyāmā
4jala barase bhījeṁ bhāgeṁ kahāṁ bāmā
5When Shyama Shyam and the Sakhis were seated on
6the boat in the middle of the Yamuna, it suddenly
7started raining, the Sakhis found themselves helpless to
8protect their Beloveds from the rain.
