1श्याम कहें आओ बैठो नाव पै बामा।
2बामा कहें हम नहिं बैठें बिनु श्यामा॥
3śhyāma kaheṁ āo baiṭho nāva pai bāmā
4bāmā kaheṁ hama nahiṁ baiṭheṁ binu śhyāmā
5Once Shyamsundar was seated on a boat in the Yamuna.
6Seeing the Sakhis, He invited them to join Him on the
7boat. The Sakhis refused Him saying, “We will not sit
8with You, without Shyama.”
