1नौका में बैठीं बामा नाहिं श्याम श्यामा।
2इतने में आये दोनों जय हो कहीं बामा॥
3naukā meṁ baiṭhīṁ bāmā nāhiṁ śhyāma śhyāmā
4itane meṁ āye donoṁ jaya ho kahīṁ bāmā
5Once the Sakhis were seated on a boat in the Yamuna
6without Shyama Shyam. Just then Shyama Shyam
7appeared, the Sakhis’ joy knew no bounds and they
8shouted happily, “Jay ho!”
