1होड़ करि नृत्य मोर करें श्याम श्यामा।
2हार मानो अब थकि गये होंगे पामा॥
3hod̤a kari nṛitya mora kareṁ śhyāma śhyāmā
4hāra māno aba thaki gaye hoṅge pāmā
5Both Shyama Shyam are competing with each other to
6display Their skill in the peacock dance. They had been
7dancing continuously for long; so the Sakhis pleaded
8with both, “Just accept defeat and stop dancing, Your
9feet must have been tired from all this.”
