1कान में जो नाम लो तो चौंकें श्याम श्यामा।
2ढोल ढप लै के करो कीर्तन बामा॥
3kāna meṁ jo nāma lo to chauṅkeṁ śhyāma śhyāmā
4ḍhola ḍhapa lai ke karo kīrtana bāmā
5Another wise Sakhi interrupted, “If you chant Their
6names in Their ears They may wake up with a start.
7Rather let us gently do sankirtan of Their sweet names
8along with gentle playing of the dhol and dhap.”
