1अच्छा चलो चलते हैं श्याम ढिग श्यामा।
2किन्तु आगे तुम चलो पाछे ब्रज बामा॥
3achchhā chalo chalate haiṁ śhyāma ḍhiga śhyāmā
4kintu āge tuma chalo pāchhe braja bāmā
5The Sakhi responds, “All right I will accompany You,
6when You go to Shyama. But, You must walk ahead,
7and I will follow You.”
