1दोउ हैं चकोर दोउ चन्द्र श्याम श्यामा।
2कभु दोनों चन्द्र तो चकोरी ब्रज बामा॥
3dou haiṁ chakora dou chandra śhyāma śhyāmā
4kabhu donoṁ chandra to chakorī braja bāmā
5Both Shyama Shyam are the moon as well as the chakor
6bird as They constantly gaze at each other. If both are
7compared to the moon, then the Brajgopis can be
8compared to chakor-bird who fixedly gaze upon Their
9beautiful forms.
