1उठि चलि कंठ लगायो पिय श्यामा।
2“जय हो जय हो” कहि कहि बलि बलि बामा॥
3uṭhi chali kaṇṭha lagāyo piya śhyāmā
4‘jaya ho jaya ho’ kahi kahi bali bali bāmā
5Hearing Shyamsundar's plea, Shyama could not contain
6Herself and personally went forward to embrace Him.
7Seeing this beautiful sight, the Sakhis are overwhelmed
8and shout joyfully, “Jay ho! Jay ho!”
