1हलधर गौर तनु श्याम सुखधामा।
2दोनों अवतारी आये कह ब्रज बामा॥
3haladhara gaura tanu śhyāma sukhadhāmā
4donoṁ avatārī āye kaha braja bāmā
5Balram has a fair complexion, while Shyamsundar has
6a dark complexion. But both are the abodes of bliss
7and are divine manifestations of the Absolute Supreme
8Personality, God.
