1काम, क्रोध, लोभ आदि, शत्रु छे श्यामा।
2छठी को छहों को बना दे निष्कामा॥
3kāma, krodha, lobha ādi, śhatru chhe śhyāmā
4chhaṭhī ko chhahoṁ ko banā de niṣhkāmā
5O Shyama! Since eternity I have been a victim of the
6six vices: lust, anger, greed, infatuation, arrogance and
7jealousy. On this auspicious occasion of chhathi, make
8these six tendencies divine and utterly selfless by
9directing them towards You.
