2लाली लाली कहें ब्रजवासी ब्रजधामा॥
3braja meṁ prakaṭa huā brahman bani śhyāmā
4lālī lālī kaheṁ brajavāsī brajadhāmā
5The Personality referred to as ‘Brahman’ in the Vedas,
6appeared in Braj in the form of Shyama. However,
7Brajvasis, the residents of Braj, simply call Her ‘Lali,’
8the little darling.
