2राइ नोन वारूँ तो पै भानुलली श्यामा॥
3kāhu kī najara nahiṁ lāge braja dhāmā
4rāi nona vārūṁ to pai bhānulalī śhyāmā
5To ward off the evil eye from King Vrishbhanu’s darling
6Daughter, the Gopis of Braj perform a ritual of passing
7a quantity of salt and mustard seeds around the child
8and then burning it.
