2चाहे मारें घटे नहिं प्रेम निष्कामा॥
3śhyāma pyāra kareṁ chāhe tad̤apāve bāmā
4chāhe māreṁ ghaṭe nahiṁ prema niṣhkāmā
5The selfless love of the Brajgopis is such that whether
6Shyamsundar embraces them or leaves them to suffer
7in the pangs of separation or even renounces them
8forever, it never wanes.
