1गोपी जन मन बसे श्याम आठु यामा।
2याते कारो भयो जरि ताप ब्रज बामा॥
3gopī jana mana base śhyāma āṭhu yāmā
4yāte kāro bhayo jari tāpa braja bāmā
5Shyamsundar is enshrined in the hearts of the Gopis.
6So the fire of love inflaming their hearts has made Him
7dark complexioned.
