1तेरे मन्दिर में करुँ दण्डवत् प्रणामा।
2किन्तु तन झुके मन झुके नाहिं श्यामा॥
3tere mandira meṁ karuṁ daṇḍavat praṇāmā
4kintu tana jhuke mana jhuke nāhiṁ śhyāmā
5Even though I bow before the Deity in the temple, my
6mind does not actually bow in submission and develop
7true humility.
