1मेरे पाप लिख बहीखाता धरो श्यामा।
2तेरा बहीखाता जला देगा तेरा नामा॥
3mere pāpa 6likha bahīkhātā dharo śhyāmā
4terā bahīkhātā jalā degā terā nāmā
5O Shyama! Though I have been committing sins and
6You have been keeping an account of them, yet chanting
7of Your holy names has such a great power that it will
8burn up all the record of my sins and will purify my
9heart.
