1सुना है तु कोमल कोमल श्यामा।
2मेरे लिए निठुर भईं काहे धामा॥
3sunā hai tu komala komala śhyāmā
4mere lie niṭhura bhaīṁ kāhe dhāmā
5O Shyama! Knowing You to be the most gentle and
6tender hearted I came to You. But why have You become
7so merciless by not yet showering Your grace on me?
