1तुम भी अज हम भी अज रहें उर धामा।
2तुम कर्म लिखो हम कर्म करें श्यामा॥
3tuma bhī aja hama bhī aja raheṁ ura dhāmā
4tuma karma likho hama karma kareṁ śhyāmā
5O Shyama! You are eternal and so am I. We both reside
6in the same place, the heart, but I perform actions
7whereas You note them down.
