Nīlamaṇi tanu lakhi gai balihāra.

tribhuvana sundara kāmadeva aru, rati hai usakī nāra.

unate aganita gunita manohara, haiṁ sundara sarakāra.

unakī sundaratā unake hī, mana ko mohanahāra.

unakī chinmaya tanu lakhi gyānihūṁ, mānata muktīhiṁ khāra.

shiva, shuka, janaka, sanaka tanu chhavi lakhi, deta samādhi bisāra.

umā, ramā, brahmāṇī, vāṇī, lakhi nahiṁ pativrata dhāra.

unake roma roma te santata, baha braja rasa kī dhāra.

kaha ‘Kṛipālu’ una tanu rasa chākhata, bhala vṛishabhānudulāra.

One sakhi describing the beautiful Divine form of Shyāmasundara says

to another, I have sacrificed my mind, body and very life beholding the

matchless beauty of Shyāmasundara’s Divine body. Kāmadeva (Cupid)

and his wife, Rati are the acme of beauty in the three worlds, but the

beauty of Shyāmasundara far surpasses their beauty and is countless

times more charming and captivating. The gyānīs (non-dualists) who

are fortunate to experience the overwhelming sweetness of His Divine

form, find the bliss of liberation to be sour in comparison. Great yogīs

like Shiva, Shukadeva, Janaka and Sanaka etc. forget the joy of their

trance seeing the splendour of Shrī Kṛishṇa’s Divine body. Even

sovereign female personalities like Pārvatī, Laxmī and Saraswatī etc.

could not observe fidelity to their husbands seeing the captivating

unparalleled beauty of Shyāmasundara. The nectar of Divine bliss

perpetually flows from every pore of Nīlamaṇi. According to the saint

poet Kṛipālu, it is only Shrī Rādhā who fully tastes the sweet ineffable

nectar of Shrī Kṛishṇa’s Divine form.
