अधम उधारन नाम सुनि, उर आशा बढ़ि जात ।

1अधम उधारन नाम सुनि, उर आशा बढ़ि जात ।

2भक्ति वश्य सुनि नाम पै, मन महँ अति डरपात ॥९०॥

3भावार्थ - हे श्रीकृष्ण ! तुम्हारा पतित पावन नाम सुनकर मन में साहस होता है।

4क्योंकि मैं पतित हूँ। मेरा भी काम बन जायेगा। किंतु जब भक्त वत्सल, भक्ति वश्य

5आदि नाम सुनता हूँ तो निराशा छा जाती है। डर लगने लगता है।

6Aḍham Uḍhȧran nȧm suni, ur ȧshȧ baḋhi jȧṭ.

7Bhakṭi Vashya suni nȧm pai, man mahaṇ aṭi ḋarpȧṭ.[90]

8O Krishn, when I hear that Your name is Adham Udharan (uplifter of

9the fallen souls) my heart becomes hopeful that I will also receive Your

10Grace (because I am a fallen soul). But when I hear that You are

11Bhakti Vashya and Bhakt Vatsal (the one Who loves His Bhakt so

12much that He becomes his dependant) I feel scared (because I

13have no such qualities in me).
