1काम क्रोध मद लोभ कहँ, मन मूरख! मत छोड़ !

2रसिक शिरोमणि श्याम ढिंग, दे इन को मुख मोड़ ॥३८॥

3भावार्थ - हे मूर्ख मन! तू काम क्रोधादि को छोड़ने की मत सोच। वरन्‌

4इनको श्यामसुंदर संबंधी बना दे।

5Kȧm kroḍh maḍ lobh kahṇ, man murakh! maṭ choḋ!

6Rasik Shiromaṅi Shyȧm ḋhing, ḍe in ko mukh moḋ. [38]

7O my foolish mind, do not think of renouncing anger, pride,

8desires and attachments. Instead, transform and relate all these

9with the devotional aspect of Shyam Sundar Krishn, the crown

10jewel of rasik Saints. (For example: be angry on your own

11shortcomings; feel a pride that you belong to Radha Krishn; desire

12for doing Their Divine service; and attach yourself in the loving

13remembrance to Radha Krishn.)
