2दैवी माया गुणमयी, जानु रूप अंधियार ॥७३॥

3भावार्थ - श्रीकृष्ण सूर्य के समान हैं, जीवगण सूर्य की किरण के समान हैं,

4एवं गुणमयी माया अंधकार के समान है।

5Brahm Shyȧm haiṇ surya sam, jeev kiran anuhȧr.

6Ḍaivi mȧyȧ guṅmayi, jȧnu roop anḍhiyȧr. [73]

7Supreme God Krishn is like the sun and the souls are like the

8rays of the sun. (Souls are a fraction of God just as rays are a

9part of the sun.) Lifeless yet powerful maya, with its three

10inherent qualities, is like darkness. (Just as darkness cannot

11stay in front of sun, maya cannot stay in front of Krishn.)
