राम नाम सब सत्य कह, जब लौं जात मसान ।

1राम नाम सब सत्य कह, जब लौं जात मसान ।

2लौटत ही पुनि जगत कहँ, सत्य मान धनि ज्ञान ॥२०॥

3भावार्थ - संसार में शव को श्मशान ले जाते समय सभी ‘राम नाम सत्य है’,

4ऐसा बोलते हैं। किंतु श्मशान से लौटते समय संसार को ही सत्य मान लेते

5हैं। ऐसे अज्ञान युक्त ज्ञान की बलिहारी है।

6Rȧm nȧm sab saṭya kah, jab lauṇ jȧṭ masȧn.

7Lautaṭ hi puni jagaṭ kahaṇ, saṭya mȧn dhani gyȧn.[20]

8People (in India) say, “Ram nam satya hai,” (the name of God

9Ram is the only truth) when they accompany a dead body for

10cremation. But as soon as they return home (from the cremation

11ground) they still believe that the worldly attainments are the

12only truth. So what is good in making such an ignorant statement.
