## English whole-pad meaning

A gopī says to another, “Oh friend! I am totally ruined in loving Shyāmasundara. Let me tell you about what happened one day. The dawn was yet to break when that naughty Shyāmasundara knocked at my door. I asked, ‘Who is knocking the door?’ He said, ‘A guest from your mother’s home is calling you out.’ I opened the door and fluttered my glance all around to see who it was. Then He said, ‘The guest is sitting in My home.’ Believing Him, I set off with Him to His house. On the way, He garlanded my neck with His arm, calling me ‘Beloved!’ Enraptured by His words and touch and captivated by His charm, I unwillingly lost my ‘everything’ to Him.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the gopī adds, “Oh friend! Now to whom can I relate this adulterous love of mine?”

## Published-book provenance

This site presents transcriptions and scans of published devotional literature. It does not compose new verses or meanings. OCR errors may remain.

Decorative Madhuri and Bhakti Challenge illustrations were generated with Codex. They are separate from published source text, original scans and publisher artwork. Library covers are individually credited supplied-PDF cover/source-page images or publisher-representative artwork; the pictured cover does not establish edition equivalence. [Library cover provenance](https://radhey.shreyam1008.com.np/content/books/index.json).

Prem Ras Madira is a published work by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, with a print history preceding this website. The supplied companion Gutka identifies Radha Govind Samiti as publisher and its eighth edition as 15 July 2011 (PDF page 3, printed page II).

The official biography says Prem Ras Madira was published by 1955; a JKP article gives 1960 for its first Hindi publication. These sources disagree, so this collection does not assert a single verified first-publication year. The 2011 date identifies the supplied companion Gutka edition, not the first publication or every scanned edition.
